About the Plant
Rhododendron anthopogon is native to the alpine Himalayas from Himachal Pradesh to Bhutan, from 3,000 to 5,000 meters elevation (10,000-15,000 feet). It is known as Taalisri in Punjab, Taalish in Tibet, and Taalis-faz in Kashmir.
